Fresh off an unstoppable run of events, The Unbound crew take over The Cause one last time for a 16 hour summer bonanza of wonky bass and twisted, percussive electronics.
Following their event with the Zenker Brothers, object blue and TASHA, the upcoming day & night affair sees Unbound honing in even further on their vision of crystalline, broken sonics. Topping the bill of the night party is Timedance boss Batu who, after causing a stir at clubs and festivals across the globe with his futuristic, tribal riddims, will be playing a special 3-hour set.
Rounding out the main room of the nighttime party are Livity Sound founder and Bristolian bass pioneer Peverelist and Discwoman's SHYBOI, whose fearsome Afrofuturist excursions will perfectly complement Batu's rhythmic sound. Fresh off his scorching 'Termina EP' on R&S Records and a release for Martyn's 3024 label, Yak is soon to be releasing his second EP for Berlin-based imprint Version and will be heading up the bill for Room 2.
The daytime party is no joke as well; Nottingham's king of swampy warpers - Lukas Wigflex - will be joined by Livity Sound mainstay Hodge, who'll be shutting down the day with his signature blend of polyrhythmic rollers, broken beats and more. Someone who knows a thing or two about throwing a party, and following the smashing debut of Wigflex City Festival, Lukas will be the perfect partner in crime for Hodge.
Support in the daytime comes in the form of Unbound boss DJ Winggold - who'll be playing an array of bright, futuristic Afro-centric tunes - plus residents Aidan Ray and DJ Paramedic & Dr. Blowfin who'll be bringing the signature Unbound eclectic flavour.
